- Largest Project – Sempra Energy (9mo) focusing on ITIL/MOF IT management methodology in a Microsoft enviroment and a 15,000 user Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 Active directory migration.
2000 – Microsoft Corporation, Microsoft Solutions Consultant
- Developed SMS Automated OS Deployment POC eventually rolled in to the SMS 2003 Deployment pack.
- Business Desktop Deployment Accelerator solution architect. One year project top optimize Windows deployment experience for customers. Worked with Windows, Office, and SMS product groups to provide customer pain points and improve product deployment and long term management.
- Enterprise Strategy Consulting with various Fortune 100 companies.
- East Region Lead for Mobility Solution (1y) and Desktop Deployment Solutions (3y).
- Largest project – Project lead for KPMG Global 70,000+ user NT 4 to Windows 2000 upgrade project. I lead or participated in the initial team selection, nationwide rollout process consisting of mobile “fly teams”, Windows 2000 image for CD or network deployment, managing 40+ application developers to remediate over 2,000 internal applications for Windows 2000 compliance. 100% project goals completed with 0% data loss for 70,000 user upgrade with my automated user data backup and Windows scripting process. Became KPMG global liaison for 3 months providing best practices on Windows deployment methodology to KPMG’s management and staff globally

- Managed 25+ VOIP network installs (Cisco Phones & PBX Trunking)
- Project manager of 100+ multi-site network deployments including: managing network and server design, wiring contractors, server install and DR plan, managing customer success criteria, customer liaison to technology vendors and telecoms companies.
- High availability Compaq server design engineer and install coordination for Colgate, Merck, Johnson & Johnson for one year.
- Building Merck’s Wintel New Jersey datacenter infrastructure including coordinating onsite installs of over 250+ server racks of server and networking equipment over one year.
- Mentored junior staff, taught complete MCSE and CCNA training classes to are internal technical staff of 250+, developed service delivery framework as company transitioned to Professional services firm from primarily hardware sales.
- Largest Project – Managed nationwide project for consultant for Tesseract Schools, a private education company. In 1997, this was one of the first “laptop for every child concept schools” in the country. I managed the full technology integration from the intital sales process, to selecting network and environmental locations for 10 schools during construction, to managing the network/server install, to training faculty on managing local server infrastructure.
